Always on the move...

This one took me quite some time. The original sketch was done on paper (yeah, I worked on my old sketchbook again... yay) and then I "inked" it digitally. A few retouches,, colour and R2's details... and... voila! I had this idea of doing Padme (LOL) on some cold planet for some time now.

The idea was to get Padme to look like Padme without putting too much detail on her. I did'n want a reallistic look, jus a simplified one.

By the way, i came up with the outfit. It's some kind of "casual robe" too merge in the crowd (wich would be impossible with her usual outfits hahahaha). Beneath it she's wearing something like her famous "Snowbunny" gear.


Ah... mental note... never draw R2 again hahahahaa... fraki'n detailed droid!!!

Hace tiempo que tenía la idea en la cabeza de hacer una ilustración de Padme en algún plantea frio.... así como que estuviese en alguna aventura o algo. Me tomó más tiempo del que pensé. Me puse a experimentar con el SAI y dibujaba de vez en cuando, además hice algunos retoques del boceto original (que tenía en una croquera... si, papel y lá;piz!!!!) y tuve que lidiar con los mil detalles de R2.... T_T

La idea era lograr que Padme pareciese Padme, sin atiborrarla de detalles. No quería lograr un look realista, solo una buena simplificación en mi estilo. Comentarios e impresiones, por favor.

Por cierto, el traje es idea propia... una especie de túnica casual para camuflarse entre la gente (cosa que sería imposible con sus trajes normales). Debajo lleva algo térmico, como su famoso atuendo "Snowbunny" de la serie animada.

That is a cool looking outfit for Princess Leia to wear. I wish Leia wore that in the movies for the Planet Hoth. Although you say it is Padme she sure looks like Leia.
